Gypsy Apocalypse

The day started out dark and we were scared of our own shadows. Everything was bare and concrete buildings loomed in the distance. Omens, tall and mighty.

Still, we walked on, finally finding respite amongst a clearing. It was at this moment that we caught a glimmer of hope - the light was no longer cold and frightening. It was warm and inviting, begging us to rest in its rays.

But as you know - travelers find no rest. And when you are amidst an apocalypse, those patches of warmth are just like a mirage in the desert. We will continue to rely on layers and each other to keep our skin & bones warm.
